For this beachside home, our team at Legacy Renovations transformed two bathrooms — and this guest bathroom was one of the highlights.
The space, though compact, now features a stunning new design centered around beautiful custom tile work. Originally, the bathroom had a tub, which we fully removed to create a more modern, open shower area. The entire space was stripped down to the studs and completely waterproofed, ensuring long-term durability and protection.
As part of our standard process, every custom shower pan we install undergoes a 24–48 hour water test to guarantee a perfect seal. We used custom stone across both bathrooms, incorporating it in the niche base, threshold, and shelving for a cohesive, premium look. A second shelf was added to maximize storage and enhance usability within the shower.
Instead of glass, the client opted for a shower curtain setup to maintain a more open feel — ideal for the small layout. With new plumbing fixtures, updated valves and spouts, and improved water pressure, the shower experience is now significantly better than before.
The finished result captures a clean, relaxed beach vibe, perfectly suited for the home’s coastal location. The clients were thrilled with the transformation, and we’re proud to have delivered a space that blends beauty, function, and craftsmanship.
