All right, we’re in Jack’s Beach today, and this was a super fun bathroom. It’s really small, but we maximized all the storage we possibly could. We’ve got a cabinet above the toilet, shelving above the door, and then our vanity. Although we went with a smaller vanity, we chose one with two drawers instead of just one.
We also changed the layout. The toilet and vanity used to be positioned in a way that made for an awkward flow throughout the bathroom, so we switched them. We redid the plumbing under the concrete slab—cut it out, installed PVC, and moved everything where it needed to go—then created this beautiful walk-in shower.
Since we’re here at the beach and they surf all the time, they wanted a place to hang their wetsuits. We installed these racks and robe hooks inside the shower so they can hang them up and let them drip dry. Everything is fully waterproofed and built to last for years to come.
We love how this turned out.
We’d love to do something like this for you.
