This is part two of a two-part bathroom project. The homeowner had concerns and ultimately had to fire their previous contractor. When I came in, it was clear why.
As you enter, the first thing you notice is the large vanity with a stone countertop. The vanity and top were purchased together, but the homeowner selected the stone, and it looks great. There’s also a pocket door, which provides privacy for the toilet and shower while still allowing access to the vanity.
We removed and rebuilt an entire wall, waterproofed the entire floor with RedGard, and installed brand-new tile to ensure everything was fully sealed and protected. In the shower, we redid the tile properly, back-buttering each piece so it’s securely bonded and fully waterproof. All old, moldy drywall was removed and replaced with new drywall, allowing paint to adhere properly and reducing future mold risk. We also installed a new exhaust fan.
The shower features black accents and large-format tile that really make the space stand out. If you ever have concerns about a contractor’s work, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help however you’re most comfortable.
