All right we’re at the beach, Jacksonville Beach, and as with most of these houses on the beach sometimes you get pretty small bathrooms.
It’s our job to try and maximize as much space as we can.
First, to show you space maximization in this bathroom, we’re actually going to step in the tub, because it is pretty tight. Now we went with the deep, deep soaker tub. Most bathtubs are nine inches deep. This one’s about 15 inches, so almost double the soaking depth.
This is a super fun awesome tub.
Next, we used large format tile. This really helps to make this bathroom feel a little bit bigger.
Going all the way to the ceiling helps to raise the ceiling a little bit.
Then, as with the most bathrooms that we do where we’re trying to maximize space, above the toilet we put these 42 inch tall cabinets to just sit here for a little extra storage.
Now, look right over here at this vanity we found. It fit absolutely perfect in this space.
For the shower, we used a beautiful quartz top and then a little hidden shelf back here which is actually really good because then we can access the valve back here if there’s ever an issue if you ever want to check anything you have access to it it’s not completely hidden back there so really cool.
