This project involved the complete transformation of a traditional bathroom into a fully ADA-accessible shower space designed for both functionality and elegance.
The renovation began with the removal of the existing bathtub to create a smooth, step-free transition into the new shower area—enhancing accessibility and ease of use. The design features consistent tile work throughout, using the same tile for both the shower walls and the main bathroom floor to create a cohesive and spacious look.
For added visual interest and texture, Pebble Mosaic tiles were incorporated into the shower niche and the shower floor, offering a natural and stylish contrast to the main tiles.
Accessibility and safety were key priorities in this design. Three strategically placed grab bars were installed to ensure stability and support within the shower. The setup also includes a dual shower valve system, featuring both a rainfall shower head and a handheld shower for added flexibility and comfort.
A 3/8-inch thick glass panel was used on the pony walls, ensuring both durability and a sleek, modern appearance.
The result is a beautiful, safe, and user-friendly ADA-accessible shower that seamlessly blends practicality with high-end design—another successful project by Legacy Renovations.
