We worked hand-in-hand with this client to design some really cool things.
Obviously, as you can see, we had to take out a ton of concrete. We’re doing a curbless shower here where we’re going to have the same tile floor in the bathroom and the wall.
We’re going to have linear drains where it all slopes down. We’re going to put a giant Japanese tub here.
There’s going to be a ton of fixtures and a ton of trim kit where it’s going to feel like a spa.
There’ll be a big glass door here, a sliding glass door.
I mean, we went above and beyond with this client. We are super excited how it’s turning out.
I wanted to show you what it looks like in the middle of a project so that when we come and do this in your house, you’re not blown away by how dirty it is or whatnot.
This is exactly what it looks like. We’re currently working on the plumbing right now, getting everything set where it’s supposed to be.
But, yeah, this is what it’s going to look like when we’re working on your shower.
So we’d love to do this for you. I can’t wait to show you this end product, but we’d love you to give us a call and work with you on something like this, Legacy Renovations.
All right, we’re back in this awesome bathroom that we’re still right in the middle of completing.
Before, you saw there was a big hole in the ground.
We’ve now done all the plumbing, and filled in the concrete.
We’re still right in the middle of putting all the red guard down and waterproofing it, so we still have a little bit of waterproofing to do.
You can see we’re using kind of a dual system here.
I really like the red guard system where you use a concrete board material and red guard for the waterproofing,
but then around those edges for a little bit extra, you know, it’s a really good idea to use the Schluter System around all the valves, anywhere where water can get down through, it now can’t.
It’s impossible for water to get through these walls, so it’s perfectly waterproofed.
After we are finished red guarding, we’ll tile right over the top of it.
We’ll have a solid piece of stone here to prevent any leaks coming in through the shower niche (recessed shelf), so it’ll be perfect.
Super excited about this.
We’ve got the air filtration in, all the pipes right here are going to blow air down in here and dry it all out.
Can’t wait for you to see the end product.
We’ve been here a couple of times just so that you could see the process.
We knew that this one was going to turn out amazing, so I wanted you to see it start to finish.
There’s a lot to go over, but the first thing you can see, something we did a little bit different with this bathroom, is we had the same flooring going all the way in the shower.
And then right as the shower started, we beveled it just a little bit to get the linear slope that we needed down to those linear drains.
Absolutely beautiful, just ties the whole bathroom together.
Right over here, we’ve got the vanity with the leather-finished top, custom stone, custom vanity base cabinets,
and then a little bit different, single sink basin with two faucets.
And then lighted mirror.
We ended up furring the wall out, did some customization so the vanity could fit, and we could fit the recessed cabinet so it wasn’t sticking out off the wall.
Again, just little details like that that really made this bathroom so beautiful.
In the private toilet room we changed a couple things as well. We used to have a vanity that sat here, and it was redundant because we already had a vanity over there, so we just took it out to give us more room for the toilet space.
We’ve got a smart toilet here that’s a bidet and does just about anything you could imagine.
It’s absolutely amazing.
The main point of this entire bathroom, of course, is the shower. Which is a shower and bath space. It has a Japanese soaker tub where you’ve got three options, ways to fill it. You’ve got the faucet, the handheld, and then the rain soaker that falls perfectly into the Japanese soaker tub.
Once you’re ready to shower off, you can come right over here.
Again, three different ways. We’ve got body sprays, the handheld, and then another rain shower head. All supplied by the Honsgrohe valve system, which is a German brand, super, super good quality, and turned out really, really beautiful.
The vanity or the niche, which has the stone that matches the vanity top to, again, just try and blend as much as we can.
We’ve got the large tiles, and when we lay these larger tiles out we really try and blend the grains so that it looks like it’s all tied together.
You can see how we try and match the grains so that it looks like it flows together. In some places you can see it’s perfect and absolutely beautiful.
We love how this shower turned out. It was really fun working with this client.
As you can see, it turned out absolutely beautiful.
