We just wrapped up a kitchen renovation in Atlantic Beach, and this one turned out absolutely awesome. One of the first things we tackled was an archway at the entrance — we squared it off to align it with the existing support beam, and we were able to do that without any structural changes. It really helped open up the kitchen.
We didn’t remove all of the cabinets, so one priority was matching the new pantry to the ones we kept. It came out beautifully — pull-out shelves, great user-friendly storage, and space up top for larger items. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite details in this kitchen.
For the cabinetry, we went with white to complement the stone and backsplash selections. The microwave, which used to sit up on the counter, was moved to a sleek under-cabinet, under-stone position — keeping the upper space open and giving the kitchen a cleaner, more modern look. The white subway tile, the stone that carries across all three sections, and the window flooding the space with natural light all tied everything together perfectly.
This kitchen came together beautifully, and we’d love to do something like this for you. Give us a call at Legacy Renovations.
This kitchen features Transitional style — a blend of traditional and contemporary design elements:
The overall effect is a bright and modern kitchen, but warmer and more classic than a true contemporary or minimalist design.
